The word has finally gotten out about internet marketing. Folks are starting to understand attraction marketing and how it works for their MLM business. If you’ve followed Mike Dillard or Ann Sieg, then you already know what I’m talking about.

Step One
Their ideas are fairly simple. They teach you to identify a problem in order to show multilevel and network marketers how to solve that problem. This technique allows you to position yourself as the leader and attract other marketers to you. By doing so, you establish that first bit of trust. But this is only the beginning.

Step Two
Getting folks to initially listen to what you have to say is one thing, but continually getting them to listen to you on a regular basis is another thing. In order to get folks to listen to you on a regular basis you’re going to have to “get in front of them.” By this I mean you continually have to have a presence with your “listeners.”

Step Three
In short you want to help your listeners solve their problems and be more successful in their business. If you’ve accomplished this over and over, then THIS process is in essence list building. At the same time you must continually follow up with them on a regular basis to establish rapport. This is accomplished by use of autoresponders. Once this has been done then you’ve reached internet marketing nirvana.

Tie It All Together
This nirvana is also called permission marketing. If you’ve attracted others in MLM and network marketing to you by solving their problem, then you’ve succeeded at attraction marketing. All of the folks that you’ve “attracted” to you are YOUR LIST. They have given you permission to (1) initially help them and (2) continually help them. Autoresponders are what allow you to continually help them (keep in contact).

Once your list has grown, it will easily become one of the most valued assets of your MLM company. In order for your list to grow, you’ll need to answer emails about your products, services, company, and what you can do for your customers. You don’t need to spend all day doing this anymore, as you can leave everything to your autoresponder. Your autoresponder can answer all of your email questions and give customers what they want – which will help your company grow. As we already know, YouTube is one of the best social media sites on the planet for video marketing. Since Google owns YouTube, it’s only natural that YouTube videos get preference on Google’s search engine results. So you have to be using YouTube as one of your platforms in social media to promote your internet business… right? Sure you are, but be careful how you use it. The reason is that YouTube is canceling accounts for users that are aggressively using their services. If you’re going to use YouTube as a video marketing platform, then you’re going to have to play by their rules.

Those that have success with internet marketing have done so with YouTube. But what do you have to do to get YouTube to cancel your account? Here are some of the most common answers. If you have more that one account (with the same internet provider address) then that’s a red flag. Anyone that is using electronic software to automatically add friends, post comments or ratings are subject to getting their account canceled. Those that upload duplicate videos of the same content also stand the chance of getting their account suspended or terminated.

If you have violated YouTube’s community guide lines ( http://www.youtube.com/t/community_guidelines ) and your account has been canceled, then you can e-mail their support desk and request that they reinstate your channel(s). Mostly likely they’ll tell you NO, and you’ll have to start over. Yeah I know, that stinks! I have heard of one person that has had their account reinstated, but I don’t know of anyone personally.

If YouTube canceled your account, and you cannot get it reinstated, what do you do next? How are you going to continue video marketing? What about all of those videos and the time spent creating them? The short answer is to start over.

First-
Create a new account, but this time use a NEW email address.

Second-
If you have those old videos stored on a hard drive or disk somewhere, then you’ll be back up to speed quicker. Only use those videos if you make slight changes to them, because if you post the exact same videos then you may get flagged again.

Third-
You might want to consider using other social media sites that I personally use like www.DailyMotion.com or www.Viddler.com and www.MetaCafe.com (just to name a few) along with your new YouTube account.

Finally-
You’ll want to call your internet service provider and request a new “IP” address.

The moral of the story is that YouTube provides a great platform to brand yourself. And this is what you should be doing for your business in the first place. No more spamming, that’s what MySpace has turned into.
