Tiger Woods Scandal – Will His Golf Business Suffer in 2010?

How has he established the Tiger Brand?

Over the years Tiger Woods has built a golfing empire. His success playing golf has allowed him to receive hefty royalties from endorsements such as books and apparel. Tiger has positioned himself in such a way that these royalties function as “derivatives” to pay him and his family over and over again. In essence the Tiger Woods brand/image is iconic to golfers around the world, because no one can deny that he’s one of the best at his business. THAT WAS UNTIL THE 2010 SCANDAL!

What has actually changed?

Unfortunately for the Tiger Woods brand/image (and ultimately his family), his personal set backs may negatively impact on his business in 2010. Unless he can remain focused and somehow restore his image in the public eye, the Tiger Woods brand/image and business will ultimately suffer.

It doesn’t have to be that way.

But it doesn’t have to be that way for his business. Nor does it have to be that way for internet marketing or online business. In fact, because of social media sites like FaceBook, YouTube and Twitter, the online marketing business is thriving in 2010 and well beyond. And yes they are free advertising platforms for all types of opportunities. But only if they are used correctly.

Exactly what is FaceBook?

It’s basically a site that allows people to communicate more efficiently with their friends, family and co-workers. People can share photo, video, text and more. Users have access to pages such as: Friends, Inbox, Network and Profile. These pages, along with other applications (Events, Groups, Notes, Photos, and more), make up the totally addicting user experience.
